This starter set includes everything you need to launch the Athena and Xtreme rockets. It's designed to take a beginner rocketeer, build up their skills, and bring them deep into the world of rocket science. This starter set includes the launch pad, the launch controller, 2 A8-3 motors, 4 starters, 4 plugs, and 12 sheets of recovery wadding. Everything you need to experience an incredible launch day. The Athena is a Beginner's quick building rocket kit that requires no previous building experience and no paint. The Extreme is an Intermediate rocket kit that requires moderate assembly which includes gluing and painting.

 Athena: Pre-Built, No Assembly Required
Xtreme: Scissors, pencil, ruler, yellow glue, hobby knife, masking tape, clear tape, paint (black).
Estes model rocketry is recommended for ages 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12. Unless otherwise specified, all models require assembly. Tools, construction and finishing supplies sold separately.
