Vallejo Surface Primer Grey 18ml
Matt acrylic primers specially formulated for airbrushing. The primer is the first layer of colour applied to the model in order to prepare the surface for subsequent painting processes. Vallejo Primers do not hide the details of the model and can be applied to various surfaces such as resin, PVC, brass, white metal or wood. In order to ensure excellent adhesion, it is necessary to apply it on a previously “degreased” surface, therefore it is advisable to wash the model or figure before priming it in order to remove any traces of release agents. The primers are applied in successive layers and dry quickly forming a homogeneous film of extraordinary hardness and resistance within a few hours after application. They can be used directly or diluted with our Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. The recommended compressor settings for our colours are around 15 – 20 PSI or 0.5 to 1kg. For proper airbrush maintenance we recommend using Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Safety: Primer is non-flammable and solvent-free.
Presentation: Available in 18ml/0.6 fl oz bottles (with dropper), and 60ml/2.02 fl oz and 200ml/6.76 fl oz bottles (with hinged cap and dropper).
