German 8Ton Semi Track SD.KFZ.7
The Sd.Kfz.7 was one of Germany's most versatile half-track vehicles of World War II. Designed for transporting personnel and supplies and towing heavy equipment, it served in a wide range of roles throughout the war. Its most famous role was as a prime mover for artillery such as the powerful 8.8cm anti-tank and anti-aircraft gun.
Tamiya's 1/35 scale kit faithfully reproduces the imposing Sd.Kfz.7, including its sturdy frame, complex running gear and detailed driver's compartment. The front wheels are steerable, while the driver's position features realistically reproduced instruments and pedals.
The large canvas hood can be assembled either raised or folded, giving modellers flexibility when displaying the finished vehicle. Eight figures in a variety of relaxed poses are also included, making this kit particularly well suited to diorama builders.
