Volantex Hurricane 995mm 2.4ghz RC Yacht RTR
The Hurricane is a sailboat in the popular one metre class, making it an excellent choice for both hobby sailors and those looking to take the leap into competitive sailing. With a length of 990mm, a mast that extends 2130mm above the deck and a hull width of 220mm, it offers a stable and realistic sailing experience. Despite its size, the boat weighs only 1350 grams, making it easy to handle both on and off the water.
Advanced 2.4 GHz radio control – full control from a distance
With a modern 2.4 GHz transmitter, you get a noise free experience with long range and fast response. Thanks to this technology, you can sail side by side with other RC enthusiasts without the signals interfering with each other. With the controller, you not only control the course, but also adjust the sails in and out. To get started, a total of 8 AA batteries are required (4 for the boat and 4 for the transmitter, not included).
Durable and elegant design in ABS plastic
The Hurricane is built to last. The hull is made of moulded ABS plastic, providing a strong and durable construction while maintaining a sleek and realistic finish. The tight deck hatch protects the electronic components from water and moisture, so you can sail without worry. Sailing in saltwater? No problem – just rinse the boat with fresh water after use to keep it in top condition.
Assembly
The Volantex RC Hurricane comes with all electronics pre-installed. You will need to assemble the mast, sails and keel yourself, and also gives you insight into how the sails can be adjusted later to optimise performance. The package includes tools, screws, manual, boat support and a 2.4 GHz transmitter. After assembly, just insert batteries and hit the water!
